    Preparation Instructions

    • 8 Tbs. melted/cooled butter
    • 2 eggs
    • 1 cup sour cream

    Preheat oven to 350°F. Line 8" x 4" bread pan with parchment paper. Lightly coat with baking spray.

    In large bowl of stand mixer fitted with paddle attachment, add 1 cup of cake mix, eggs and room temperature sour cream. Mix on medium speed for approx. 2 minutes, until well combined. With stand mixer or electric mixer running on low speed, slowly pour in melted, unsalted butter. Continue to mix on low and add remaining cake mix a little at a time until fully incorporated. Scrape bottom and sides of bowl and mix again until batter is totally smooth. Pour batter into prepared loaf pan.

    Bake for 15 minutes, then reduce oven temperature to 325°F and continue baking for 40–45 minutes. Bake until cake is golden brown, and toothpick inserted into center of cake comes out clean. Let cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then run knife down sides of pan and turn out onto wire rack to cool completely. Store leftovers in plastic wrap.
