Showcasing a special family recipe and the freshest local ingredients, it's crafted for us by Joseph Ahearne, whose signature empanadas and accompaniments are legendary among Bay Area foodies. This vibrant green herb sauce showcases a classic combo of fresh parsley, oregano and garlic, blended with red wine vinegar and extra-virgin olive oil. It's exceptionally versatile – drizzle it over everything from grilled meats and fresh-baked empanadas to salads, vegetables and soups. Or use chimichurri as a flavorful marinade.

Receiving Instructions

• Chimichurri ships frozen with dry ice, which may have evaporated during shipment. This is normal. Please take care not to touch any remaining dry ice with bare hands.
• Upon receipt, store unopened in refrigerator for up to three months or freeze for up to 6 months. Once opened, store in refrigerator for up to 5 days.
• Product will naturally separate. Shake before use.

Preparation Instructions

• If frozen, place sealed plastic bag of sauce in bowl of hot water (140°F) for 5–10 minutes, or until it can be broken into pieces.

• Olive oil, red wine vinegar, oregano, parsley, garlic, red chile flakes, salt, black pepper.
• This product is prepared and packaged using machines that may come in contact with wheat/gluten, eggs, dairy, tree nuts (pine nuts), shellfish (shrimp).
