The company created a sweet twist on the classic with this decadent dessert version. Topped with crunchy turbinado sugar, it features flaky, buttery empanada crust wrapped around a creamy filling of ripe bananas and house-made dulce de leche caramel.

RECEIVING INSTRUCTIONS
- Empanadas ship chilled with gel packs.
- Upon receipt, store unopened in freezer for up to 6 months. Once opened, store in refrigerator and enjoy within 14 days.
PREPARATION INSTRUCTIONS
- Keep frozen until ready to bake.
- Preheat oven to 400°F. Lightly grease baking sheet or line with parchment paper. Place frozen empanadas 1" apart on baking sheet.
- Lightly beat 1 egg with 1 Tbs. cold water. Brush each empanada with egg wash.
- Lightly sprinkle with turbinado sugar, if desired.
- Bake for 8–12 minutes, until internal temperature registers 165°F. Let cool, then eat immediately.
- Dough: Flour (unbleached wheat flour, niacin, reduced iron, thiamine mononitrate, riboflavin, folic acid, enzyme), butter (cream, natural flavor), water, liquid pasteurized whole eggs (whole eggs, citric acid, water), salt, wine vinegar.
- Filling: Condensed sweetened dulce de leche (milk, sugar, agar, sodium bicarbonate, disodium phosphate), banana.
