    RECEIVING INSTRUCTIONS

    • Empanadas ship chilled with gel packs.
    • Upon receipt, store unopened in freezer for up to 6 months. Once opened, store in refrigerator and enjoy within 14 days.

    PREPARATION INSTRUCTIONS

    • Keep frozen until ready to bake.
    • Preheat oven to 400°F. Lightly grease baking sheet or line with parchment paper. Place frozen empanadas 1" apart on baking sheet.
    • Lightly beat 1 egg with 1 Tbs. cold water. Brush each empanada with egg wash.
    • Lightly sprinkle with turbinado sugar, if desired.
    • Bake for 8–12 minutes, until internal temperature registers 165°F. Let cool, then eat immediately.
    • Dough: Flour (unbleached wheat flour, niacin, reduced iron, thiamine mononitrate, riboflavin, folic acid, enzyme), butter (cream, natural flavor), water, liquid pasteurized whole eggs (whole eggs, citric acid, water), salt, wine vinegar.
    • Filling: Condensed sweetened dulce de leche (milk, sugar, agar, sodium bicarbonate, disodium phosphate), banana.
    • Contains dairy, eggs, wheat/gluten.
    • This product is prepared and packaged using machines that may come in contact with shellfish, tree nuts.
