    Receiving Instructions

    • Salmon, bagels and cream cheese ship frozen with dry ice, which may have evaporated during shipment. This is normal. Please take care not to touch any remaining dry ice with bare hands.
    • Upon receipt, place salmon and cream cheese in refrigerator, where they will keep up to 21 days (unopened). For longer storage, freeze for up to 6 months.
    • Store bagels in freezer, where they will keep for up to 1 month.

    Preparation Instructions

    • Thaw: Unwrap bagels from packaging and place on pan or tray. Leave in refrigerator for approx. 6 hours or overnight. Remove bagels from refrigerator and cover in plastic wrap. Let rise for 30 minutes or until room temperature.
    • Boil: Bring 5 cups water to boil in large pot. Place bagels in boiling water for 1 minute, then flip them over and let boil for another minute. Remove and place on baking sheet.
    • Bake: Preheat oven to 455°F. Bake for 8 minutes, and then rotate pan and bake for another 8 minutes, or until crust is light brown. Remove and allow to cool.
    • Signature European-Style Lox: Smoked salmon (Atlantic salmon, salt, cane sugar, spices, natural wood smoke).
    • Plain Bagels: Shepherd's Grain unbleached enriched flour (wheat flour, malted barley flour, niacin, reduced iron, thiamin mononitrate, riboflavin, folic acid), water, brown cane sugar (sugar, invert sugar, cane molasses), malted barley flour, sea salt, corn meal, yeast, calcium sulfate, enzymes (plant-based).
    • Smoked European Lox Salmon Schmear: Cream cheese (pasteurized cultured milk and cream, salt, stabilizers [xanthan and/or carob bean and/or guar gums]), smoked salmon (Atlantic salmon, salt, cane sugar, spices, natural wood smoke), contains 2% or less of the following: lemon juice, propylene glycol alginate, gum arabic. Feed contains: astaxanthin, canthaxanthin or Phaffia yeast.
    • Contains wheat/gluten, dairy, eggs, soy, fish (salmon).
    • This product is prepared and packaged using machines that may come in contact with sesame.
