    RECEIVING INSTRUCTIONS

    • Crab ships frozen with dry ice, which may have evaporated during shipment. This is normal. Please take care not to touch any remaining dry ice with bare hands.
    • Upon receipt, store in freezer for up to 6 months.

    THAWING INSTRUCTIONS

    Crab Clusters

    • Thaw in refrigerator overnight.
    • Once thawed, pack crab in ice and cover with damp towel. Store in refrigerator and enjoy within 3 days. Replenish ice as it melts. Drain excess water.

    Crab Captain's Vinaigrette

    • Let thaw at room temperature.

    PREPARATION INSTRUCTIONS

    • Crab is best enjoyed chilled or warmed.
    • To warm crab, steam, boil or bake (at 275°F) for 5–7 minutes.
    • Be careful not to overheat crab, as it will negatively affect texture and taste.

    Cracking Crab

    • Use shellfish crackers, wooden mallet or hands to strike or snap shell just hard enough to crack it, but not hard enough to crush meat inside.
    • Once shell is cracked, twist crab to extract meat. Use seafood forks, picks or pointy crab "toes" to pick meat out of shells.

    Crab Captain's Vinaigrette

    • Shake or stir vigorously to mix ingredients.
    • Serve in small dipping bowl.
    • Crab: Dungeness crab.
    • Crab Captain's Vinaigrette: Rice wine vinegar, extra-virgin olive oil, garlic, poppy seeds.
    • Contains shellfish (Dungeness crab).
    • These products are prepared and packaged using machines that may come in contact with soy, sesame, fish (salmon, halibut, sablefish), shellfish (Dungeness crab).
