Is there any dish more satisfying than a rich, bubbling-hot lasagna? You're covered for meat lovers and vegetarians alike with two trays of lasagna – a classic cheese lasagna featuring a bright marinara sauce of vine-ripened fresh tomatoes, and a meat lasagna starring a hearty Bolognese sauce of ground beef and tomatoes. Each sauce is slow simmered then layered with sheets of pasta, creamy ricotta, mozzarella, grated Parmesan and fresh basil. All you need to do is bake the lasagna for an hour and serve.
- Two 5-lb. trays (one Cheese Lasagna, one Meat Lasagna).
- Each tray yields 8–10 servings.
- Shipped frozen.
Receiving Instructions
- Lasagna is shipped frozen with dry ice, which may have evaporated during shipment. This is normal. Please take care not to touch any remaining dry ice with bare hands. Upon receipt, place lasagna in freezer where it will keep for up to 12 months.
Preparing Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Take lasagna directly from freezer and place on sheet tray; do not remove lid. Bake for 45–55 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 165°F. Turn oven up to 425°F, remove lid and cook for an additional 5 minutes to brown the top. Remove from oven and allow to rest for 10–15 minutes prior to serving.
- Cheese Lasagna: Lasagna sheets (semolina [wheat], niacin, iron [ferrous sulfate], thiamin mononitrate, riboflavin, folic acid), marinara sauce (vine-ripened fresh tomatoes, virgin olive oil, sunflower oil, salt, onion, sugar, black pepper, basil, oregano, parsley, citric acid), shredded mozzarella cheese (low-moisture mozzarella cheese [pasteurized milk, cheese cultures, salt, enzymes], potato starch, cornstarch [anti-caking agent], powdered cellulose [anti-caking agent], natamycin [mold inhibitor]), Parmesan cheese (pasteurized cow's milk, cheese cultures, salt, enzymes), ricotta cheese (pasteurized milk, pasteurized whey, vinegar, stabilizer), modified food starch, basil, onion, garlic, canola oil, salt, pepper, liquid egg (whole eggs, citric acid [color preservative], 0.15% water [citric acid carrier]), pan coating (soybean oil, phosphate mono and diglycerides, calcium carbonate, silicon dioxide, canola oil, water, propellant).
