Enjoy a French feast without leaving home. Crafted in the San Francisco Bay Area, all the components of this set are hand made in small batches. The duck rillettes, duck mousse and black pepper pâté are authentically prepared according to traditional French recipes. The collection makes a great spread to have on hand for spontaneous gatherings – just add crostini or crackers.

- Duck Rillettes: Similar to pâté, this rich spread is crafted with seasoned duck fat and shredded duck meat cooked confit-style. Serve it in or out of the terrine with cornichons, crackers and salami. It pairs perfectly with a glass of Vacqueyras, Côtes du Rhône, Beaujolais Villages, Saumur, Anjou or Sancerre Rouge. (7 oz.)
- Duck Mousse: This silky mousse features fresh duck livers marinated in port wine. Delicious with a French baguette, it pairs easily with a glass of Gewürztraminer, Crémant de Bourgogne, rosé, riesling, fruit lambic ale or brown ale. (7 oz.)
- Black Pepper Pâté: This country-style French pâté is expertly seasoned with black pepper. Serve it in or out of the terrine with salami. Delicious with a French baguette, Tuscan loaf or rustic bread, it pairs easily with a glass of cabernet sauvignon, pinot noir, Gigondas or Saint-Émilion Grand Cru. (7 oz.)
Receiving Instructions
- All components ship chilled with gel packs. Upon receipt, store unopened in refrigerator for up to 2 months. Once opened, enjoy within 10 days.
Serving Instructions
- Serve all components at room temperature.
- Duck Rillettes: Duck meat, duck fat, water, duck liver, cornstarch, salt, pepper, spices (nutmeg, bay leaves, thyme).
- Duck Mousse: Duck liver, chicken fat, water, eggs, port wine, salt, nonfat dry milk, cane sugar, white pepper, spices (nutmeg, coriander, caraway, allspice), aspic (water, gelatin, vinegar, brandy, salt, carrageenan).
- Black Pepper Pâté: Pork, pork liver, water, eggs, red burgundy wine, onions, nonfat dry milk, salt, black pepper, garlic, spices (nutmeg, coriander, caraway, allspice), aspic (water, gelatin, vinegar, brandy, salt, carrageenan).
