Detail
Handcrafted in Japan, the Shun Premier Blonde collection is distinguished by hammered blades that evoke the artistry of traditional hand-forged knives, and light-hued PakkaWood handles that provide a modern look. This santoku combines the benefits of a chef's knife and a cleaver, making it indispensable for chopping and slicing fresh vegetables and small cuts of meat.
- Blade features core of extremely hard VG-MAX "super steel" clad on each side with 34 microthin layers of stainless steel.
- Striking hammered finish (tsuchime in Japanese) reduces drag when cutting and helps quickly release food from blade.
- Blonde-finished PakkaWood handle has two-position design, providing trigger grip for pull cuts and perfect balance point for pinch grip.
- Stainless-steel end cap embossed with Shun logo adds stability, strength and wide weight distribution from end to end.
- Handcrafted in Japan.
