The stamped blades are made from exceptionally hard Cromova 18 high-carbon stainless steel, ice tempered and hardened to resist corrosion.     Use

    • Always use caution when handling sharp objects.
    • Avoid cutting on hard surfaces such as stone, metal and glass.
    • It is not advisable to use any knife but a meat cleaver to cut through bone or frozen food, as the blade can be easily damaged.
    • Easel contains magnets specifically configured to steel composition of Global knives. Not intended for use with any other knife brand. Do not add knives that would overcrowd easel.
    • Knives are best removed from easel by grasping handle and pulling vertically until magnet releases. Alternatively, remove knives by grasping handle and turning quickly.

    Care

    • Hand-wash with warm water and mild detergent.
    • Rinse and dry immediately.
    • Use honing steel in between sharpening to maintain cutting edges.
    • Sharpen straight-edged knives using whetstone or knife sharpener, or have them sharpened by a professional.
    • Sharpen serrated knives using sharpener specifically designed for serrated blades or have them sharpened by a professional.
    • Store knives in safe place to protect edges and prevent injury.
